I can't be the only person who can spend 5 minutes looking for their pyjama trousers that they've already put on... I'm blaming this flu bug
Please make me feel better & share a divvy thing you've done recently!! |

Don’t worry, I often wake up and put my glasses on only to be looking for them half an hour later thinking I haven’t put them on |

Lose my glasses and keys everyday at some point.
At work. I will be walking to go do something. Be interrupted. Then will forget and have to retrace my steps to remember what was actually going to do in the first place...

I was on the phone to my brother have it on loudspeaker as usual, speaking away to him I sounded confused he asked what's up and told him that I'm looking for my phone. He's never laughed as much until that moment |

I contacted my GP practice once for an emergency appt for sudden onset of blurred vision even with glasses on….seen the same day, asked if I was wearing my contacts lenses, said absolutely not! This discussion went back and forth until she removed one from my eye!!! Turns out I forgot to remove them the night before!!
I was Mortified! More so because I work in healthcare and should know better! Walked out with tail between my legs
In my defence I had worked 7 nights on the bounce and a little tired |

Brill thread can definitely relate to most the posts
unfortunately I’m fully qualified in the ability to lose any objective I own at least it keeps me busy looking for stuff
Ps why do people often say/ask
where did you have it last? Imo
if I knew the answer i wouldn’t be looking for it

"I look for my phone while talking on it."
I've done that too when needing to Google something but cant find my phone
My stupidest thing recently when working out the logistics of going on my works Christmas do, was thinking to myself 'oh I know, I can get the train to work tomorrow, then I can go out straight from work, have a few drinks and get the train home'
Totally forgetting that my job involves driving most of the day |

I panicked that I'd left my sunglasses in a taxi on holiday. They were on my actual face |

I changed my car. Parked the new one. Went back and found myself looking for the old one. I phoned the police to say it had gone.. it was bloody embarrassing phoning back to explain! |

I charge my phone and use it to listen to music when I'm driving. I can guarantee that on every journey I will panic that I've forgotten to bring my phone.. whilst listening to the music on it. I'll then forget to take it out of the car with me when I get out |

I once drove my car to the train station to carry the tools. I left the tools on the job for the next day. When I went out in the morning there was no car.
Reported it and walked to the train station to go to work and found my car. OOPS!! |
