Just had a bacon butty
What makes the perfect bacon butty
Back or streaky? Smoked unsmoked?
Ketchup or brown sauce?
Mine was free range Gloucester old spot back bacon
Proper thick cut butchers bacon, unsmoked on just plain old white sliced, butter no sauces.
What’s yours? |

My new way of cooking bacon:
Non stick pan, no oil needed, add some water once the bacon starts sizzling. Turn over and repeat.
It stops it going wafer crispy but does crisp up and remain thick.
Toasted bread, cold tomato sauce, egg yolk fried for about 30 seconds so runny. Happy to get it all over my face |

"Sausage and egg plenty of brown sauce on a fresh bun "
Agreed its not bacon but it is better than bacon
A good sausage runny egg but not too runny and brown sauce on a decent soft roll mmmmmm
If it's strictly bacon then streaky smoked and roll with brown |
