I like Miranda, got it recording at the moment - think partly it's the old-fashioned slapstick that appeals to me...can't get away with Mrs Brown's Boys but Miranda has me guffawing till a little tear runs down my leg - also love her in Call The Midwife so think she's a very versatile entertainer |

sooo glad you started a thread on this.
I was under the impression the whole of the UK loved Miranda Hart judging by the amount she is on TV.
I thought it was just me who couldn't see the appeal!!
Really don't find her funny, clever or anything else!!
Admittedly I purposely don't watch the Midwife thingy because she is in it...so for I know she could be brilliant in it???
However I've become a new convert to Mrs Brown.....loving that show, really funny

I saw a little bit of Miranda tonight and I wasn't that impressed.
I like Mrs Browns boys, light hearted, easy _iewing entertainment.
We had the Peter Kay dvd for christmas and I did find that amusing. I think its because the things he talks about we can all relate to in our own lives. I actually laughed out loud when he was imitating how the guests dance at a big fat gypsy wedding, ie' 13 year old girls gyrating wearing just a bra and a gstring |

I like Miranda, but for a Christmas special, it was shit, but it was much better than the Mrs Brown's boys special, that was pitiful in comparison to the usual series.
Seems that they don't know how to make decent festive specials any more as the Royale family was shit too! |
