Great idea for 2013

Jump to: Newest in thread

I just saw this idea and I want to share because I really like it.

Get an empty jar and every time something good happens in 2013, write a note about it and put it in the jar.

At the end of the year open it and read the notes....

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

That is a great idea. If you add £1 too then you can have a treat at the end of the year.

Won't they be a bit stale by the end of the year?

I would be more inclined to put bad memories in it. With some hindsight at the end of the year maybe things weren't as bad as you first thought

then again if they were you've just raked it all up again.didn't think that one through

Perhaps, have two jars? One with the good and one with the bad. Put £2 into the bad jar and £1 into the good and I truly hope the good jar wins at the end of year.

And if you also add a quid with each note you will also be able to afford a good booze up to celebrate all your luck!

I'm gonna have a jar where I put £1 in it every time I have sex in 2013. I might have enough by next Christmas for a small water biscuit.

I am gonna do this . I can worry and stress about the bad things but don't tend to take the good things on board so much so this will make me focus on them

I've been doing the memory jar for two years, also have a jar for things I'm grateful for. Its great to look back on at the end of the year.. we always seem to forget the little things that made us feel good, because the hard or bad memories stand out more..

Love the idea of popping a pound in thou, that's great. Shall be doing that from now on.
