With verification being free and private, we're just wondering how come so many remain unverified after months of being online?
Do other couples take this as a concern when receiving friend request and messages?
Or are we just overly cautious?
Happy new year |

Do you mean photo verification?
We're not concerned about either method of verification and have met many unverified people and been pleased to give them their first, providing of course they are who they claim to be .
We always meet for a coffee so if someone considerably different turns up we've lost nothing but time |

Happy new year " I've never needed verification or sought them i have had them at points but they aren't needed and what purpose do they actually serve when one person's opinion differs from anothers, i just move onto people who dont require them |

I don’t show verifications, this is my choice, I have them but I sometimes find them rather cheesy and what one person likes doesn’t mean you will too, I like to build my own opinions, chat get to know someone and then have socials if you’d see warnings run xxxxx |

When me and my wife meet we don’t really have time for socials and weeks/months of chatting so we only meet people who have a meet verification. We’ve been let down plenty of times by people with loads of veris so it’s not fool proof but at least it shows they’ve turned up before and are who they say they are. |

Yes, more often the photo verification is what we tend to question but even then it's usually down to being randomly added and then not being messaged or replied too
Coffee always sounds like the best plan, safe and simple with plenty of exits haha |

You're not wrong about the exits .
We learned through bitter experience to meet socially only first with no exceptions. This isn't a guarantee of success but does ensure that you don't find yourself in a compromising position with someone who's nothing like their profile.
