Mankind has been observing the sky, the stars, the sun, the moon and the changing of the seasons for thousands of years.
We had means of telling time long before clocks came along. |

There was a meeting of international representatives of where the 0 line of meridian would be and Greenwich in London was chosen. Before then time was local - sundials. Time in the north would be different to time in tbe south of England too |
