I'm an introvert who becomes an extrovert in some social situations.
As a child and teenager it affected me terribly and stopped me from doing a lot of things.
After taking antidepressants I got a little more sociable, but I still avoid people most of the time.

Being introvert has its pluses.
I don't have lots of friends to buy birthday cards for.
I'm good with buying presents but I hate writing out cards.
I have a huge family to make up for the lack of friends.

As much as I missed my family I found lockdown to be so peaceful and calming.
Lack of traffic outside my house was lovely. |

Lack of traffic outside my house was lovely." I hated it and I'm extreme intro on MBTI. I find people tiring ... Yet essential to my well being. Like the gym. And sex |

People do have their uses
I was the mother in the school playground who stood alone (even when my in laws were there too) because I couldn't stand the tedious chatter.
Every now and then I'd grace them with my presence if they were talking about something important.

I'm an introvert but I love going out and chatting to prople and just being in the company if friends. But I doesn't mean I don't live being able to recharge at home away from the world |

"Apparently Albert Einstein was an introvert....I knew I was in good company "
Yes, most of the great thinkers are/were. Thinkers/visionaries move & lift human consciousness
Non-neurotypicals for the win |

"There are different kinds of introverts.
I have anxiety and tend to live in my head."
Anxiety is an absolute bastard isn't it? I hope you're managing OK. |

For anyone on Twitter there is a great account called Introvert Problems. Just one of their quotes:
I’m not anti-social, I’m selectively social. There’s a difference.
