I popped into Tesco yesterday Tom.
Eggs everywhere .......... started with the cadbury creme at eye level during chrimbolimbo and now they are stacking high the mahoosive ones .......

I’ve worked in food retail for nearly 30 years and we always get crème eggs delivered pre-Christmas because everyone is fed up with Christmas chocolate so they go out straight away. There is a method to the madness I assure you  |

I worked in Tesco for years, they come in and sit in the back well before Christmas, then go out on Boxing Day every year.

One early September day many years ago having delivered a new vehicle to a customer I was hitch hiking back to my base using trade plates, I got a lift in a Cadbury's truck.
I engaged in conversion with the driver by asking if he was topping up the Supermarkets with Christmas goodies, No he said I have a full load of Easter Eggs bound for the distribution centres. |
