"We have separate houses!
We got married in the summer but it suits us still to have our own places especially when I’m working odd hours. "
... this sounds like a very good idea. no housework chores to argue about and peace when required. |

"You’re telling me this is an option and I don’t actually have to endure the snoring or him taking up the whole bed "
I have the same ... And I'm single. The joys of having a dog!
And she isn't gonna accept sleeping in a separate bed. |

If I had a spare room I'd jump at the chance to have a bed to myself. I'm such a light sleeper and my partner constantly wakes me and sleep is precious. |

I’m such a light sleeper and he snores and moves about far to much for my liking, I don’t have a spare room though so maybe 2 single beds at different sides of the room might help |

True! Maybe a tent in the back garden would be better |

Didn’t realise sleeping in separate beds was so popular ..I couldn’t think of anything worse .I like snuggling in bed and I can’t really sleep well on my own luckily for me tho I’m a deep sleeper and my husband don’t snore . |

Sometimes I quite like it, when I just want to watch a film and switch off from the world. But I'm too silly and like waking up or falling asleep on his chest too much to do want to do it permanently. |

This was a "thing" when the 1991 Census results emerged. They called it "living-together-separately". We had to revise our housing demand as the number of people to marital status to housing ratios needed recalibrating! |
