Not where we seem to be...

If you went out of your way to do something you knew your partner would adore, this is for you.

We love you for your efforts, your appreciation and your love.

Thank you.

Lady Astor.

I have no words.

I offer honourable gestures...

Oh how lovely! I was very fortunate and blessed and received a love letter. I adore tangible decorations and the literary romantic in me swooned. That effort meant so much to me.

A love letter? How romantic. Such an old fashioned "thing" but so meaningful. It's little but thoughtful things that mean so much.

Winston sent me to bed while he faffed around in the kitchen, said I wasn't allowed to look.

In the morning we did presents in bed, then he went back to the kitchen.

He called me in to find the breakfast table laid out, christmas confetti sprinkled on the table, named place settings, bucks Fizz and a full English breakfast.

He rarely eats meat, can't stand touching it. Hes not comfortable handling lots of foods, and yet for me, he'd prepped everything, especially the sausages and bacon.

All cooking over night in the slow cooker.

So much thought over such a simple thing.
