Sod the diet, lets hear what the best cake is.

I love a fresh cream eclair or cream donut.

"I don't really eat cake but my favourite is coffee and walnut"

Agree.

But also with 'easycouple' on the doughnut and cream filled eclair (but I do not believe either to be a cake).

land of make believe

I know I look like I love it but I don't eat cake ,I love to bake and if I was forced into having a nibble it would be coffee cake.unless cheesecake counts because I love my lemon and raspberry cheesecake.

Yum

Cheeseville, Somerset

The chocolate fudge cake they serve at Mrs Potts Chocolate House on St Mary St in Cardiff.

I could happily sit there all day with an entire cake, a fork and a coffee mug being refilled frequently.

At this time of year, Delia's chocolate roulade filled with chocolate mousse and cream then dusted with icing sugar.

She calls it a squidgy chocolate log but people might think that's a euphemism.
