Swingers signals for what they are looking for?

So when we go to a social event or club the major hurdle seems to be identifying who there want's what.

For this reason we often feel hesitant about approaching others, and we also sometimes attract unwanted attention from genders we aren't interested in. To be fair these are in the main very polite, but some are downright disrespectful and can spoil the vibe for us

We imagine many feel the same?

And we are wondering if there would be a solution that organisers could offer at functions?

This could be simply colour coded wristbands or something chosen on entry. Eg blue if you are looking for a boy..

Any thoughts?

If they are disrespectful they will ignore wristbands the same way they ignore profiles. X

Happy New Year

Possibly, but then I would be more comfortable and within my rights to tell them to f*#k off, something I would not otherwise do we are all there looking for something after all. The problem is identifying and conveying what.

Happy New Year also

I think maybe some kind of dead letter box system. A bit like the wink system on here. Everyone/couple had a name or a number on a badge or wristband associated to a dead letter box. If you fancy someone but find it difficult to approach them or gauge their intrest from an interaction you can just put a note in their box. When they next check the box they can either bin it, pop a note in your box or go find you. Even if the aim is to meet them outside of the club (or near the end of the night) you could use it to pass on a fab name or kick details or number.

We attend a lot of socials and we have never come across a problem or anyone being disrespectful.

If we are enjoying someone’s company we tend to ask them what they are looking for so we know if to arrange a one on one social.

If we feel someone is being a bit to over friendly and their not what we’re looking for then we are upfront with them and we’ve never had no issues or awkwardness of any kind .

I do agree about the coloured bands tho we went to route 69 a few years back and we had coloured bands depending on what we were looking for we thought that was a great idea.

I would suggest going to certain club nights if you're looking for a particular person/scenario. I don't think a system like that would work because even if you're interested in a certain group of people, you aren't going to want them all. Also you shouldn't feel worried about asking people what they are looking for, it's what we are all there for.
