I opened my secret Santa present, only because I'm at work and it was given to me clearly someone who knows me well, loved it!

My eldest son and I spent a half hour wrapping gifts together and stuffing Christmas stockings while sharing a bottle of wine.

We decided to just exchange our gifts to each other instead of wrapping any more. I loved all he gave me and he loved my gifts.

I'm in bed, too excited, but not allowed to get up yet. Yes I know I'm 45, still can't help it though.

I'm in bed wide awake waiting to get going. Silly really, as No1 son has just schlepped his way over from Edinburgh after work and is totally knackered from 13 hr shifts and No2 son is a teenager and will sleep till lunchtime if not woken by me.
