What are your new years evening plans?

From the land of haribos. |
It is the last day of the year and I will celebrate it with my parents, we will have new years dinner later then watch jools holland and snack on a cheese board and then we will watch the firework from the balcony and have some wine. I got the haribos ready. I wish you all a happy new year  |

I will be working, at the moment I am up to my wrists in mashed potatoes and black pudding for some croquettes for one of the festive boards.
When I have finished the prep, I will come home, get my 1920s outfit on and and go back to work |

Beers, Chinese takeaway, and whatever is on the box or Radio. And making sure my cats are not too stressed out with the fireworks at Midnight.
And it will be bliss looking at the weather out there.  |

Not me. I don't have/watch TV. Seeing it (note, not watching it) in other people's houses on New Year's Eve was enough to put me off watching it for years to come! |

Having worked in Hospitality / Licensing (until my last job ending in late 2020 & I've since retired), I worked every New Year's Eve for over 35 consecutive years!
I worked my socks off, to ensure everyone else enjoyed themselves!
Tonight will be my 3rd NYE in a row, by myself, when I can see in the New Year, in my own quiet way.
In my view, I really cannot comprehend how and why everyone goes overboard with the excitement of a New Year!
Maybe working every single one for years has dulled my senses!, but each to their own!
Happy New Year to all Fabbers.
