To list or not to list – that is the question
Jump to: Newest in thread
I’m having an office day and already I am bored with looking at spreadsheets, so I am gonna go to Tesco in a bit and do a big shop.
The thing is, I know I need some stuff, but I’m not sure what that stuff is.
Are you a shopping list person, or are you the kind of person who just goes and buys what they like the look of?
Do you write a list for your partner to take – if so do they follow it to the letter or come back with alsorts of stuff you hadn’t asked for?

I never make a list,I prefer to pick up what's fresh, in season and bargains lol.
But as Stu says never shop on an empty tummy......I tend to do Tesco's online with a sandwich and a cuppa to hand anyway.
They don't mind me nakkie shopping either lol

Only make a list when there are basic items ive run out of and need to get, otherwise dont bother. If Jay goes to tesco i just say while your there will you get so and so cause he just comes back with a load of rubbish anyway |

Ordinarily I don't need to make a list, there's only me and I know what I want But there are some weeks when I need things that I don't need to buy on a week by week basis plus I have a memory that is, frankyl, shit lol so a list is a must have!! |

If we are doing a big shop we take a list and always get more than whats on the list!!
If Im doing any online shopping I never have a list I tend to see whats on offer and what will get used or will fir lol gotta love online clothes shopping! problem is I always buy more than I need
Its that bad I cant go into a supermarket without spending more than I have for the food shopping - in fact one time I went into a local express type supermarket and spend £240 when all I went in for was cheese and bread!!

Just had to come on to tell you - you are soooo right.
We've had 3 zimmer-grannies doing the Granny National, Granny Derby and Granny Day at Ascot... and I'm up £5 |
