Is that the one on sale in Lidl's?

I was tempted, however, I could not justify it as I already have sufficient alcohol in the house to last me for months ahead.

Got a Co-op or Tesco Express anywhere near you? They're both open tomorrow morning - see, all is not lost

Eggnog is made from egg yoke, cream, sugar and various alcohol, and is ready to drink without further dilution.

Advocaat is a liqueur made of egg yoke, sugar and brandy with or without cream, depending on recipe. Similar in taste to eggnog, however, much thicker in texture.

Please correct me if I am wrong for those in the know.

Sounds about right. The taster I had of it in Canada years ago was like syrup - bloody sure they put maple syrup in it, just to give it a bit of 'body'!!!

yes Pearl, from Lidl.

Went searching for the normal stuff at Aldi and there was none, so nipped to Lidl, none left there, then spied the last bottle of the mint choc one. Shame as there was an offer if you bought 2

Next year I wont leave it so last minute!!!
