Does anyone have a clue? What day is it??!!
... has it felt like Saturday everyday for a week now, or is that just me?!
More importantly has going back to work been a shock.. or is that pleasure inbound next week?!
Those of you lucky enough to be retired ... is this what it feels like? |

It’s Friday
And just feels like a normal day to me
As far as going back to work
I never stopped I was even working a little on Xmas day before family time
But mind you can’t say it’s work it’s more feet up do jack and sack myself after hafe hour these days
Summer is my shock time I think
Not shour I am ready for the 15-16 hour days and bang my head off the wall
But that crown needs defendeding and I am predicting I will end this one faster than the last war
Last war was a year and hafe long
Looking to end this next war within the first month and hafe |

Self employed rather than retired but for years every day has blended in with another and there's no such thing as a weekend.
Every day is just another day with 'y' in it.

I'm back at work but still all over the place  ! Sleeping about 2 hours a night, eating chocolate for breakfast and doing housework at weird hours. Roll on next week when Hogmanay is past! |

With you op! I almost missed my barbers appointment yesterday I have a trim every Thursday never miss it, nobody mentioned it to me including E all lost in time.
Luckily the barber rang me I arrived ten minutes late still in my pyjamas at 17.30

Retirement does not feel aimless. I have that to look forward to before I pop my clogs I guess - I'll be able to open the front door and say .... Scuse me love..... what day is it ? Or better still I'll be able to trundle to the door with the bin on all the wrong days n then swear at the bin men for not taking it.
In reality. My days are filled with exactly what I want to do , in that precise moment. Life is bliss. Blissfully fun....
P.S. Today is friday ( i did have to check tho ..... but only cos it's Xmas ) |
