Wasn’t one. I never liked the majority of alcoholic drinks and beers just gave me headaches. Couple that with seeing what it does to some people and actual deaths… |

15 years ago I realised my drinking was out of control. On my 40th birthday in Feb 2008 I had 2 pints then went on to brandy during that night I drank 4.5 litters according to the landlord as he had no stock left. I new I was a heavy drinker but WTF
Happy fo any one how can reduce or get off it. |

Wherever I lay my hat |
"Whiskey when I was 18 , I woke up in a random woman’s house in a different town and had no idea where I was. Never ever again "
Ha ha. I had the same experience when I was 17 (but at least it was the same town)! Haven't been able to stomach even the smell of it ever since |

I think it’s meant to be enjoyed in small quantities not chugged down to be fair but I’m the same now the smell makes me feel ill! |

Not all that North of North London |
The night I actually decided I was getting sober, I wasn't even d*unk but it was about 10pm on a Saturday night and i was stranded in Cambridge, the previous night I'd been out in London (I don't live in London or Cambridge though) I had been up approximately 40 hours, I looked at the state I was in and figured i was a mess!

The occassional pint or glass of wine and that's it. I've probably drank less this year than I used to in one night out at the peak of my drinking.
I haven't been d*unk for over 7 years though. |

Good for you I still find it hard but am more a social drinker now. But I did have a problem. Am happy for you. |
