I always stop by his work in Bristol when I'm working in the area. There's a painting of a naked man hanging out of a window by one arm and his other hand on his crouch. A woman is in the window and what looks like her husband looking out.
I first saw it years ago and I had no idea someone famous did it. Pity someone has since thrown paint on it. |

"Sorry but he's been asked personally to paint certain places due to his original vandalism "
If that's the case then that's ok. As long as it's with the agreement of the person that owns the location.
Many times it appears to be random places without permission, including a London tube carriage. |

I like it, I did walkabouts in Bristol and London years ago spotting early stuff and I like what he did in the West Bank. It’s skilled, creative &’thought provoking enough. I prefer his work to to similar artists like Tracy Emin or Damien Hirst.. |

It’s all vandalism - he is primarily a graffiti artist making works on property without permission.
There’s a few exceptions , installations like dismalland but even when he sold a piece of art it automatically shredded itself. Most of his UK works have removed by councils now
In typical Bansky style there was an unauthorised exhibition here in Dubai last year of copies of all his best pieces. Rumour is he visited, in disguise and tagged a few |

"He's a one trick pony, his art was origibsl years ago but 20+ years on its predictable and seems recycled "
Exactly its complete bollocks, people just like to come across as cool liking his stencil "art" bullshit. |

"It's alright for stencil art"
This. There are so many great graffiti artists who don't rely on stencils. I feel like Banksy is similar to Blek le Rat, and I think Blek is actually quoted as feeling a bit pissed off Banksy's work is so similar.
I love Otto Schade. Spotted one of his in Blackpool about 10 years ago.
