My poor brother has managed to get a chest infection of some kind that's kicked his cystic fibrosis off so we are off to the emergency docs. It's not the best way to spend Xmas eve for either of us!

My mother is doing her worried routine so I'm keeping calm. Just a bit of a nightmare as what we know he needs antibiotics.

There’s never a good time to become ill……

But hopefully the emergency doctor will sort him out quickly and you’ll all be able to enjoy the festive period together…

Best wishes heading at you

Poor thing. My sister in law is in hospital in a very bad way and my daughters 19 year old friend had her first session of chemo in Friday. Thank God for nurses, doctors and medical staff working the festive shifts and I for one am counting my blessings.

Hope he gets better soon.

Hubby is laid up with a chest infection as well so the festivities will be dampened in this house as well.

Oh bugger. He's used to not being well but we just realised that he's never been ill for Xmas before.

Did the meds kick in?

Paul spent all of today in bed. No food but we did the presents in bed this morning.

His chest is fairly fruity. We encouraged him to get some fresh air this afternoon.
