What does your username mean?

So I’ve been messaged privately and the person messaging me was, amongst other things, asking about what my username is all about.
This got me thinking - without giving the game away about who you actually are, why did you pick the username you have?
For me - No I’m not into silk as a material, I don’t smoke etc etc.
However I do like the Silk Cut sponsored racing Jaguars from the late 80s and their instantly recognisable purple white and yellow colour scheme 
My old username was Leyton House and that was for similar reasons, the cult, ex March, racing team in that fantastic aquamarine blue.

Mine is the name of a song by a band I love and I thought it was a nice and apt username however due to Glasgow related football associations with “rebel” that I hadn’t picked up on at the time (ironic given who I support, i.e not them) I sometimes get comments on it in that way. Think I’m going to change it in the new year.
