Yo, lounge dwellers... Last January we did a plank challenge

A lot of us looked like beached whales and some of the planks were nigh on impossible to do, even in the whale position

Does anyone want to do it again, or maybe find another daily challenge? Any suggestions?

I got a bollocking of my mate who runs the gym I go to for sitting on the weights bench one morning while I finished off my Maccy's breakfast. My kinda workout

Well it will be some sort of daily 'fitness' challenge.. You'll get the exercise early in the morning and have the day/night to complete it, instructions and options provided

I got a bollocking of my mate who runs the gym I go to for sitting on the weights bench one morning while I finished off my Maccy's breakfast. My kinda workout "

i won't shout at you for having a maccies whilst planking.. Just make it a plant burger

Hey guys hope this helps, its called 50/50 challenge so you pic your favourite body part to train and you do 50 reps in the AM and 50 reps in the PM.

Its aleays good to do a before and after photo! It lasts 30/31 days

You might feel like a jelly at the end of day 2....then a jellied eel by the end of the same week

Not in but I may throw in push up planks with a 10kg back pack video in at some point

Basically take two dumbbells do a push up one hit the bottom stop and hold for 10 seconds and then back up finish 1 rep

10 reps at a 10 seconds hood = 1 minutes

Instead of doing the plank what about if you hold the press up position for as long as possible or is that not as good / effect as holding the plank position for as long as possible

I like my joints intact I am emmm let’s say not that emm flexible strong yes flexibility no ha ha I can touch my toe and stuff but as far as shoulder movements and stuff that’s pritty much out the window pice you pay for play with a barbell so much you lose a lot off flexibility

Yes, there will be a sign up thread.. I ran it across a telegram group, which was brilliantly easy, added the daily pose to a fab thread and used my daily photo allowance for non telegram users... It took me 30 mins per day admin time

We will be doing a variety of plank poses - some high, some low, some side and some dynamic.. It is surprisingly challenging

That is my issue too.. My right shoulder is much improved but now my left on is ropey
