Just been reading about the poor lady shot in Liverpool I have family there and they don't even go out say it's a cesspool.so is it time as a society we send a proper message and if they catch those responsible and found guilty we do what some other countries and let the family decide the punishment jail is to easy for this. |

The incident happened in Wallasey on the Wirral, not Liverpool. Although with areas of significant deprivation and challenge, the Wirral is generally a great place to be and this sort of event is incredibly rare there.
I believe some arrests have been made already. It's terrible that this has happened anywhere (specific location irrelevant) and I hope her family are receiving support and those responsible are brought to justice PDQ. |

"Up where I live someone had their car taken without permission for a joyride, then dumped and set alight.
I heard it was Liverpool too"
A lot of media outlets can't distinguish between Liverpool and the Wirral. The incident where a young lady was shot dead occured in Wallasey, which is on the Wirral peninsula, across the River Mersey from Liverpool. |

To be fair it’s an horrendous act of violence and a young lady lost her life god bless her
The metropolitan area of the Wirral is classed as part of the Liverpool city region if that makes any difference to the situation
So sad what a world we live in may she rest in peace another young life gone to soon |

"It’s not Liverpool, it’s over the water "
To be fair most media outlets did say Liverpool..
as I've never been..presumed Wirral was part of Liverpool ...see ....you can learn something on the forums.. |

Parts of the Wirral are Cheshire, parts Merseyside. Historically all part of Cheshire.
Obviously this is irrelevant compared to the tragedy that took place. |
