This might cause a bit of a backlash but I have to get it out. It's regarding those profiles by many ladies that demand a face pic when sending a message. No face pic, instant block. If I demanded the same thing from women when contacting me, I'd get vilified and get accused of being a picture hunter. Now I'm not having a go at any specific person but it's a general issue which I felt I needed to get off my chest. (any replies to this, please include a face pic  ) |

I need to see a face pic before I engage with anyone on here. I need to know if there's an attraction and if you're contacting me/us then add a photo. Fact is, where 1 man makes that effort, 10 others won't. As a result, women make demands to avoid the repetition.
Not that it works.

If it’s an issue for you OP, just block the profiles you come across that request this. See how you get on I don’t request face pics from anyone, but I also wouldn’t engage with anyone who had no profile pic or only had dick pics. We’re all free to set our own ‘rules’ that are important to us, as long as they fall within Fab rules too. |

It's not a big issue for me and I completely understand it's peoples personal choice. It's a double standards thing really. This might sound like a stupid analogy for some but I look at it like prenuptual agreements. Demanded by men, they are made out to be cold and offensive, but demanded by women, they are seen as sensible and vital to protect their hard earned assets. Do stop me if I seem to be getting a bit whiny. |

No point in getting worked up about it just block those profiles and move on. There will be plenty of guy who are willing to go along with the request. |

What’s wrong with asking for a face pic. Surely it saves a wasted journey if you arrange to meet someone and haven’t seen them when they turn up and there is no attraction will make things very awkward. My wife would never agree to a meet without one. |

Like others said anyone can ask for a face pic but no one has to do what they ask.
I don't ask for a face pic and I won't send one either early on in a conversation.because I don't want to if someone is chatting to me and asks for one I expect them to send one first.If I see it on a man's profile on here I just don't message them and yes I have messaged men first on here numerous times.
I find we normally exchange face pics at some point when chatting anyhow but it's just not something I do early on as too many on here like to share others pics in groups. |

The only time I ask for a face pic is if I think there's a high chance we might meet and they're quite local. But I only do this to make sure it's not someone I know outside of fab, like workmates or someone I went to school with. |

I've only blocked a few people, mainly for being irritating. The latest one is a woman relatively local who every couple of days posts the exact same status update. It annoys me so I've blocked her, my choice. |

I have no problem with a profile asking for a face pic. I'm also happy to have my face pics on public view on my profile. That probably explains why I've never had a meet or a reply to any messages I've sent.  |
