To be fair the first year as a teacher is manic and impossible. After that I found it was just pull up my big boy pants, solid time management and be realistic. I’ve never worked in my holidays since.

Yes I do the parents evenings etc, but they attract toil.

Some people work through their own time and spend a lot of time chatting when they are not teaching.
