Can we look forward to summer now?

Long days, warm nights, bare feet, shorts, sunglasses, a nice cold cider after work.

Much more conducive to having fun and feeling sexy.

Bring it on I say!

I’ve still got the best part of 2 weeks off from work. I’m not wishing that away in a hurry.

Whoa! Wasn’t expecting hate for summer!

Agree on the football though, that generally tops off a good summer. Just 3.5 years left to go for that though. Or 1.5 if you enjoy the Euros as well.

Nice, hope you can relax and enjoy it.

Sorry, wasn’t trying to be negative or wish time away - just miss being warm and seeing daylight

No...I have to get through January and February and March. I might lighten up after Easter.... Look I work in retail summer is the only time we are not bombarded with food and chocolate.

Good point though, forgot I’ll be able to enjoy a cream egg from tomorrow.

I wish but I work for a supermarket. Once all the Christmas crappy stock is gone, on January 6th the Easter/Valentine's crap will land.

Bring on summer, love autumn, love the snow and really cold weather, love spring and the blossom and flowers but I hate grey murky, miserable days. Living in Sheffield that accounts for at least half the year!!

I have no idea why Halloween Chocolate lands in August or Valentine's Chocolate lands 2 January. I can barely plan my chocolate a week in advance.

Grey is the weather of Britain, Ireland, Holland and just that whole cluster of North Western Europe. I went to Paris and lo and behold it was the weather of London but in French. *cried into Crosisants and duck confit avec Frites^

Haven't been back to Paris since. Been to the south of France three times. Cap D'agde is on my swingers list.

Haha. Well, I have a perfectly good idea, MONEY!!

But I can sympathise with your planning predicament, absolute nightmare.

At least they make Reese’s in all shapes and sizes now

, so that makes things a bit easier!

Summer =

People sweating, people sweating encroaching on my personal space.

Topless guys, ewww. No, I don't care ripped you are, just no.

People who clearly don't own a full length mirror.

Even frizzier hair.

Knobheads in beer gardens.

Oh what's for tea? Oh great, another fucking BBQ.

It's just light, all the time. Fuck off with that.

Top hot to sleep. Too hot to workout. Too hot to eat rubbish.

And most definitely too hot for sex, the thought of anyone going near me when it's above 18degrees makes my skin crawl.

I guess we see summer slightly different.

Plus summer, I have a permanent resting bitch face, in fact it's more a come within 10feet of me I may end up doing serious time face.

It’s a bit like edging but the climax is the first time you can sit in the garden past 9pm and it’s still light, even if it is still a little chilly love it.
