"I would like a little more solitude than I'm likely to get this Christmas.
But if I can get out of family things in a reasonable time frame I hope to make Christmas less lonely for someone."

Same here more or less, they can't be bothered the rest of the year so i can't be arsed at christmas.
You have as good a christmas as you can and enjoy yourself doing as you please |

I’ve spent many by myself, can count on one hand the amount I’ve spent with company. It’s just another day really. I’ve some films to watch and something nice to eat. Boxing Day I’m doing stuff so looking forward to that. |

First Christmas ever waking up alone after my marriage ended. It is rather weird not having the kids high as kites up at the crack of dawn opening presents!
Had the cows to feed this morning and now sat having lunch on my own but so far so good. Will see the kids in a while so not on my own all day.
Hope whatever anyone is up too, alone or not, has a great day and makes the most of it in anyway they want. Own the day and make it yours and dont give a stuff what anyone else is doing! |
