I have some questions.

When is it okay to have your first Christmas drink today?

Is okay to now add butter to everything I cook?

And should I grate Cheddar cheese onto everything or just slices?

Merry Christmas everyone who has made this year bearable!! *joke. I’ve had a hard year mentally and it’s all self inflicted, but there’s some super nice people on fab, (and in my life away from here) and if it wasn’t for you lot of muppets that have been endlessly entertaining me, making me smile, making me feel involved with people, I’m not sure where I’d be. So thank you

And I hope all your Christmasy wishes come true.

My first Christmas with type 2 diabetes and I’ve been very well behaved for three months no chocolate, biscuits, cakes, sweets and I’ve lost a stone in weight. So all the normal Christmas stuff I’ve got to try and steer clear of. (Mr)

Are there many alternatives you’ve searched out?

It is ok to add butter to everything you cook. I do. Toast just seems a bit dry otherwise.

Have a drink about 11am, and definitely yes, butter is the best, always.

Always has to be grated cheese too.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Nobody likes dry toast.

Anyone who eats that without making it so it drips down your chin isn’t enjoying it. They just pretend they do.

^ive said this before.

You can get diabetic chocolate can also eat little bit of the very high cocoa dark chocolate but it doesn’t taste great.

I’m on the Baileys coffee already… although I have been since about mid-November so shouldn’t be too much of a surprise.

Paul and I went out yesterday afternoon for a bit of a pub crawl as I'm working today, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Tuesday.

Have our Christmas dinner on Wednesday, well at least lunchtime in the pub then play it by ear.

Haven't done the big Christmas lunch for years, not really overfussed with it.

Have a great time whatever you choose.

It’s no good asking me those questions, I’m a glutton! I’d say butter on everything and start drinking at 7am any day of the year!

Start today. It's OK between now and the 3rd to have an alcoholic beverage at any time of day. Just not on your cornflakes

As soon as jobs are done and you've no need to head out

You've waited to add the butter? Best you get on with that one asap

Grate the cheese to cook, slice it to eat in chunks (I know what mean, honestly)

Merry Christmas and hope your wishes come true too x

NORWAY Wherever I lay my hat

It's never too early for Bucks Fizz/Mimosas. Or pretend you are Spanish and cut out the juice and drink Cava for breakfast. Always a good time.

You have been utterly hilarious OP. Thanks for making me smile on a daily basis and hope 2023 is a better year for you.
