It makes me smile when people say things like this, just to reinforce that they are so busy and popular that they don't need to log on.

I don't know when ill be on but I expect ill have time to read and post on the odd thread. If I don't then I shall come on the next day and inform you what a fabulous rock and roll lifestyle I lead and just didn't have time to.

Oh and both of us tend to use our phones and I certainly don't log off, just click off the browser on my phone so whether in case it shows as if I'm still online I don't know. But I don't want you all thinking I'm here all day and night and don't have fabulous presents, meals and trillions of visitors.

How often people log on or post is not an indicator of how successful or busy their life is. And its pathetic to think otherwise.

Yep us or more than likely me ,... as the kids grow up , we see less and less of them .... spose they`ll be in there bedrooms gaming with mates online, so while the wife is cooking a fab Christmas lunch, I`ll head up to the crem to see my mom and dad and lay flowers and then home for a bit of festive perving before lunch

I have just discovered Downton Abbey is on for 2 flippin hours on Xmas night. Since I am staying at my mums and there is only 1 TV I have no doubt I will be on from 20:45 to 22:45

I guess its up to everyone when they want to log on.. They maybe that busy they don't have a chance to log on.. However to state that someone is sad if they are to log onto here is harsh.. Is it sad to log on to faceache on Christmas Day I _iew fab the same way as faceache I have so many good friends on each that I want to share a few laughs on christmas day..

I hope that the OP has a wonderful christmas day planned where he does not feel the need to log onto fab however something is telling me I think he will then he will be among the sad lot..

I am not being naughty... I have his best interest at heart...

obviously he isn't going to be here tomorrow, all i was suggesting was the choice could be taken out of his hands...

we are only doing what his wishes anyway......

for example... 48hrs on now.. means he would only miss the last 12 of xmas eve and the first 12 of boxing day..... since he isn't going to be here xmas day anyway....

and i am sure that his "musings" could wait till then......

in fact I think thats a petition I could get behind....

Crackling Perky and I are on our own tomorrow (again, but through choice) and we keep in touch with a lot of our friends and acquaintances this way.

It's no "sadder" than being "on Facebook" or having a Christmas "Twat on Twitter" - and you can GUARANTEE that half the western world will be doing that, being ungrateful bastards moaning about their "prezzies" not being all they were greedy and avaricious enough to expect/demand (delete to taste..)

Due to work and distance, I seldom get to see my loved ones and have all my children under my roof. The last time we were all together was at my daughter's wedding in August.

Everyone is converging on me tonight, it will be a mad house, and I can't wait!

For me personally, to leave my family to log on to a sex site would be sad, I'll have plenty of time for that when they leave, all too soon on Boxing Day.

I realise not everyone will be looking forward to tomorrow or have family or friends to spend the day with so they will be on here, good for them if being on here helps.

For me, the only time my pc will be on tomorrow is to Skype my sister and her family in Italy to wish them a happy Christmas - and the whole family will be in on the act.

My comments are not having a go at how other people live their lives: just my point of _iew on how I will be spending my day: and it will not include being on FAB.

Merry Christmas ... but I have to say that I don't think fab is just a 'sex site'. Its primary purpose may have been to put like minded people in touch so they can arrange to meet for sex but it has evolved into so much more.

Friendships have formed - both real and online - you only have to see concern and support on some of the threads to know it's become so much more than just a site to hook up for sex.

What annoyed me about this thread was the insinuation and the inference that people placed Fab and swinging as more important than family and I think that is rude as there are many who enjoy banter on forums.

I am the only female in my home and my men tend to have a tradition of falling asleep after lunch. During this quiet time I may decide to have a read of the forums or I may not, I just don't know. I do know that I won't be browsing profiles and arranging meets or private messaging as I'm not in swinging mode, I'm in christmas mode.

Although I might be logged in till early morning we won't be logging in through the day either for our own reasons, but we don't think people are sad for logging onto the net if thats what they want to do.
