No.

We never used to have Black Friday.

It's an American thing that was started over here by Asda not long after they were bought out by Walmart

It doesn't actually even occur to me to go to pubs these days. Unless there's a band on or I'm going for food.

Central

Sad recent trend seeing fewer people in fewer pubs. And people have little difference in their wages from 2008. Now throttled by exorbitant increases in the cost of living . The recent cold weather will have caused more worries about affording to heat and eat, as well as have a home.

Staffordshire

Been into town two days running and the good pubs were all packed.

Our favourite traditional public house near new st station was breathe in standing room only.

Brilliant couple of days and has us both in the spirit completely

I always love the idea of a proper pub, not just one where people go to eat. Small and dark with a steady stream of mysterious and interesting guests passing through.

Yes...that furtive sense of people seeking refuge or just a fellow human contact. Everyone with a secret...

I used to live near a Victorian pub in South London which still had a serving hatch where drinks and money were exchanged without either person seeing each other.

The only way to make any money is to shove chips in everyone I bet.
