All done apart from alcoholic drinks; which I'll get this evening, or my daughter will get tomorrow.
We're not big drinkers at Christmas but we like a Baileys and a couple of drinks with and after dinner.

I cheated ordered the forgotten stuff from Uber Groceries so both deliveries have now arrived, I think I have everything and I didn't have to face Tesco. Woo hoo! |

"I gotta get bits. Currently on the hunt for an apple pie and a jar of pickles.
Doing my head in ! "
It all done and festive by Aldi and Lidl.
Got to defrost the goose tonight. I managed to get 4 lobster tails so continue the tradition of making everyone jealous of my seafood starters.
FYI I live alone but that means I literally have no reason to leave the house in January. lol!..except for work and exercise. Lol! |

"I actually started my shopping today and I can't find anything. I give up."
Jesus! The goose was bought in November from Lidl frozen section and the alcohol was bought on sale from Waitrose. I bought the danish butter cookies from Waitrose and ate them all for dinner on Wednesday...oops.. Was tempted to buy another one but I want my cholesterol to at least read below the statin level come February. Lol! GP would love to give me more drugs.
Yesterday I went to two Lidl's and two Aldi's and Asda got everything else.
If it was just goose and alcohol I would still be happy. The butter cookies have been replaced with stollen, a mini pudding, a giant pandora, a slice of ice Christmas cake and a chocolate log. I live alone....Lol! I hope I never have to go food shopping until February. Lol! |

I would cheat too if I could afford it and the things that I actually want were on Uber. |

My inlaws have decided about a hour ago they're coming over for Christmas lunch.
So yeah, I've got a few things to get. It's fine. I'm going to buy two Starbucks caramel waffle sugar overload mocha thingeymajigs and smile through the shopping tomorrow. |

"I still have to get dome more dugouts, never enough as want lots left for the kedgeree next day
What on earth, meant sprouts. Blooming predictor, dugouts. "
I just thought you were fancy and that was some exotic ingredient I hadn't heard of |

I'm just terrible when it comes to shopping. Every year I say I will never leave it until the last minute and I always do .
But hey I will survive |
