What time do you need to check in and how long will you be staying ?
If only for a few hours in the morning, book for tonight and put the 'Do not disturb' sign on til you check out tomorrow
Arrange a late check out instead ! |

In general, most check ins are 2pm. Some do 1pm and Travelodge sometimes allow you to checkin at noon - for a £10 supplement.
I've not seen anywhere what does morning check ins. If there were - it would be *real* popular.

"there is a website which specialises in day time rooms..... never used it let me try and find out its details "
www.between9and5.com
But you'll find that these are generally situated adjacent to airports ....
What's the score with Southampton airport ? |

Ask for a day room.
It's also handy to join any and all loyalty schemes. Not only do you collect points but you generally get both early check in and late check out for no extra charge as long as you ask before you arrive. |

Just beware, that if you book a room for tonight with a late check out of 2 till tomorrow, 1 of you will probably need to go and check in tonight. I've had problems checking in after midnight at some hotels. |
