It’s treating me well, I Ensuite myself in various aspects of this place every now and then. I guess Norse mythology does have some dark sides, so it would be apt |

I guess Norse mythology does have some dark sides, so it would be apt thank you they are very sweet people and i love them allx ragnar..whats his archetype?..odin was suspended from the tree of life upside down and at some point lost his eye..blindfolded suspension is kinda my thing is that dark, or just fun?"
I’d say Ragnar is a messianic archetype. Shows respect and humility to those below him, not one for selfish indignation but something for the good of one, a group or all. But he was also a clever, courageous blond thirsty warrior, so who knows
The allfather willingly gave his eye to become “all-knowing” so I guess he was maybe a tad masochistic?
Blindfold suspension? Surely it can be both? |

so a benevolent leader who fights for what he protects/believes in? yes thats right i remember odin story now..ish..sacrifice for growth and knowledge id say, rather than masochist, the pain is in the giving up, the payment for the personal growth. suspension can be dangerous if you dont know what you are doing, uncomfortable, a test of trust, but in the end you feel liberated and freedom from certain earthly factors..it can make you feel ethereal x |

That would portray well with Ragnar, I’d say.
Yes, he does receive a greater gift than worldly possessions in the wisdom and knowledge for his sacrifice. The quest for knowledge is a noble pursuit, as they say. His hanging from the Yggdrasil tree was to gain him the knowledge/understanding of the old runes.
The pleasure of receiving such ethereal gifts following prolonged pain is the reason why I think it can be suggested he has masochistic tendencies. But who doesn’t like the occasional pain before the flood of pleasure?
Suspension is almost ethereal? It would be a glorious feeling to find oneself closer to the Vanir and Aesir
