Reports that due to the restrictions and protections given to wild elephants that ivory poachers are now targetting the giant hippo for their teeth. Now Tom is no fan of the giant hippo as they are one of the most dangerous of African wildlife causing many human deaths every year. These so called science types are missing a trick here. Instead of growing meat in the lab they could use the same technique to grow ivory teeth. It would wipe out most of the trade except for the hardcore .. |
