A real shame. My dad got me their first album when it came out (cool dad!!).
Finally got to see them on the first reunion tour-the one with all of the original line up except Jerry Dammers.
Show was fantastic except that the last song was meant to be Ghost Town. It was my favourite and my heart was racing as the intro started. Then they just stopped and walked off. Some sort of dispute apparently!
We (myself and Mrs p) were gutted but it was still a fantastic show. Terry Halls voice hadn’t changed one bit since those early records.
RIP Terry you will certainly be missed! |

Managed to get the tick off my bucket list last year by seeing them at a gig..so glad I went now..great night down in Brighton and seeing all the ‘old boys’ there in their Fred Perry tops, braces and 15 holers
Would LOVED to have been at this gig in Amsterdam a few years ago though
