I'd say, as a general rule, we aren't attracted to meets, we're put off meets.
That doesn't mean we meet everyone we're not out off by, but when we're looking for a meet it's very much a case of finding someone who hasn't put us off, rather than finding someone we like.
We're interested in a lot of guys but they do things to put us off! |

Online, interested in my profile, replies to or initiates a message and gets back in reasonable time, actually interested in a meet.
In rl GSOH willing to meet for coffee first, clean appearance and clothes, can say her name, nice chemistry, wants to take it on to a drink maybe.

Alternative music friendly would be a bonus

The way the site works an age range eg 18-30 is not a preference but a STRICT EXCLUSION RULE for anyone OVER 30
So the way that works, setting a RULE, will further minimise YOUR user chances of meeting anyone suitable eg someone that is older than 30 but still looks good enough to just as well be 30 or under and looks allright lol
Setting your age range to 18-99 gets around that and you can make your own mind up about them if y'all make contact.
The shortcut to seeing if someone has set their ages so strictly as to exclude YOU/USERS is the WINK function. Winks won't be accepted if they break the set recipient age rule.' Its one way to find out anyway. (FRIEND requests work the same way.)
So I am only able to consider women that have set their preferences to allow my message/wink to get to them.
I'd also say its 60 / 40 read to unread sent messages in my sent box.
So I can ALSO only expect to contact women who do actually pay attention to their inboxes.
Age is a pretty blunt edged decision rule, though there are a few better ones on the tips and advice area.
So be careful how you set an age preference.
