Secret hideaway in the pennines |
My one day off this week, I have a pile of washing to do, my lounge floor needs vacuuming and mopping and a sink full of washing up to do, problem is I can't be arsed doing it today, had a mentally busy week at work, full of pisscans celebrating.
What can't you be arsed doing today |

NORWAY Wherever I lay my hat |
"All of the above, plus Christmas present wrapping.
Luckily for me I have two lovely people coming round to help out
My mind is willing but my body isn't. "
Can you send them round to me when they are done? Will provide copious snacks and beverages to suit most tastes! |

Work. Just had someone correct my - usually impeccable - grammar, while in a meeting and it’s made me feel like not bothering now. It was totally unnecessary and purely willy waving to ‘put me in my place’. |

But work pays for Airbnb and club nights |

I can't be bothered to deal with all the problems that seem to be cropping up this morning. Like buses, things sail along nicely then two problems come along at once and ruin your 'quiet' week before Christmas. |

"Can't be bothered with my last day of work. I am leaving the company so having to do all that handover bollocks and hand back in equipment! "
Are you actually handing things over to people?
We've had people leave the company recently and no-one asked them for a handover.
Good luck in your new job. |

That can all wait. Do something you want to do and don't feel guilty for not doing any of that. Relax and chill. |

The racking I ordered is due imminently
I need to empty the box room before lugging it all upstairs, watching the assembly video and putting it all up - then putting my "stuff" away tidy
Then shifting the (many) teddies from my room so I can get rid of shelves and buy a Kallax for them all (after turning the bed round so it's not on an external wall) - and emptying under it to enable me to move it.
Seeing all that in type - I definitely cba!! |

I can't be arsed with my boss's petty attempts to undermine me.
She's on a hiding to nothing; I've just received two awards for outstanding work on projects this year so she's just making herself look a bit of a knob and I can't be arsed pointing that out.
Just smile and nod and carry on.
Agent C the housework can wait. Coddle yourself a bit, treat yourself kindly and have a day to recharge |

It's good that someone notices and appreciates you. Can you work for them instead? (The department/ people who do the awards.) |

Sadly not: I'm procurement, the awards were from stakeholders in engineering and network strategy.
It has given me the ear of the CEO though, which is useful for some stuff I'd like to get done next year. Hurrah! |
