"Macaroons, or macarons?!
Has it only got one o I thought it had two. "
Macaroons have coconut in them, and are often baked on rice paper.
Macarons have two halves sandwiched together, and have ground almonds in them. Heavenly bite-sized bliss! |

"And bloody expensive. and cute.
£3.50 from Aldi I paid. Doesn’t seem too expensive.
The mr "
Is that for like 6?
Try buying them at a food market. They’re like a pound for each. It’s ridiculous.
But have you tried making them? A pain in the ass. |

No £3.50 for 12. Looks like I got a good deal then, back to Aldi later to stock up before they’re gone.

"I suppose that, like so many things, you get what you pay for.
Quality may vary.
The M&S ones are delish!"

Have you often thought that this is what they do at farmers markets? Buy bulk at Aldi and then repackage it as hame made and charge 4x the price for individuals? |

I must say the Aldi beat m&s ones hands down & half the price.

I’ve said this about Aldi. They match almost everyone for quality.
My nearest is Aldi so it’s a simple choice for me, but I wouldn’t prefer the others anyway. There’s no difference apart from variety and choice. |
