I don't run away
In the main, I just look and think 'yeah, right, whatever'
Then delete
Although the odd one does provoke a 'well, helllllllllllllllo' reaction
These are, however, few and far between

I always look at them, but most get deleted.
I will never, ever, accept a Friends Invite if I haven't actually made friends with them. Or I will if they are offline, then look at their pvt pics to see if there's any interests, but then always delete.
But - just occasionally - they have lead to worthwhile contacts, so I'll continue to treat them with a level of interest and respect. After all they are a usable facility, so shy not make use of them?

I seldom look at who has sent them, just bulk delete. I did once put on my profile 'I don't mind winks' and out of the many who sent them I actually got one good meet out of it

as for friends requests.
i only accept them if they are someone i know or someone i plan to meet.
if a meet doesnt happen i remove them.
i think thats fair. |

Wouldn't say any have quite had that effect on me (or Crackling), but a few have left me feeling a little 'deflated' shall we say.....
.. and then they get deleted - specially unsolicited 'Friend Invites' - Grrrrrr!!!!
