Is this fragrance over rated?
Rod mentioned he liked it a while ago, so I thought I'd check some samples out I got....
Velvet orchid
Ombre leather
Black orchid
Noir
Has my nose gone wonky or have I picked up the wrong samples? At the moment I wouldn't really wanna spend my money on any of the above! Can you suggest anything better from the range? Or is it all pants!

I'm not up on men's aftershave but like perfume it's a very individual thing. I asked someone to buy me coco mademoiselle as I'd heard so much about it without testing it. It smelt like cats piss on me.
Maybe go shopping together round one of the large department stores and test them out together |

I personally like invictus but he specifically mentioned Tom Ford he's got lots of different fragrances that smell lovely on him but nope not into this Tom Ford business. Should I be selfish and buy what I like for him |

"Tom Ford and Creed are way too expensive for what they are.. you can get 2/3 (if Tom Ford) or 5 (if Creed) more very good designer fragrances for their prices."
I can't speak for creed because I don't know what that one smells like. The samples I've got they do seem over priced, after 2 hours I would have thought they would have settled enough to make a decision. |

"Just put it on, one each night of the week and say nothing and see if he says you smell nice and which one
Ps, for me the vanille fatale eau de parfum is the best currently and a unisex one. "
Oh no! Looks like I'll have to spend more time getting samples then ha. |

I have way way too many.. D&G, Armani, YSL, Chanel, JPG Lacoste, Givenchy and they're wonderful. Try a few in the shop and walk around and come back later, see if you still like it on your skin. |

"I really like some Tom Ford fragrances, but most are very strong rather than fresh, so it depends what you like? I like Oud Wood, Tobacco Vanille and Noir Extreme "
I haven't really thought too much about what I like on a guy but know I can feel mesmerised by a guy wearing a bloody good fragrance |

Try Vetiver or Green Irish T. Both are incredible. |

"Tobacco Vanille is nice enough, many of the others are vile to me but.... Plenty buying it regardless of cost. Crazy lol
"
Yeah I'm not sure what I was expecting, they are definitely unique fragrances. Not really something that floats my boat personally but now I've got some inspiration! Having said that I'll probably end up getting him some else ha ha |

I think Tom Ford is the sort of fragrance that needs to be worn for a while so it can warm up on the skin and mix with natural testosterone. Then smell it again nuzzled into their neck when they’re wearing a white shirt, gorgeous suit or fitted cashmere jumper… |

There are some nice fragrances by Tom Ford - I have Grey Vetiver for hit days and Extreme for colder days.
If your going expensive Creed does some bangers, Green Irish T, Adventus, Himalaya, Millsime.
Cheaper but very good scents though you find frome Versace or Paco Raben. I have or had Eros, Eau Fraiche, The Dreamer, Invictus, 1 million and Black XS. All good and worth trying to see if it works with your bodies chemicals |

Although it's not my favourite, I have to agree that I get lots of comments if wearing Adventus. |

Tom Ford is my go to, Black Orchid is daily one and Tobacco Vanille is my going out one.
I personally love the scents and regularly get comments from people, both sexes |

I have lots of Creed/Penhaligons/Hermès and other ‘day to day’ ones but the first 3 are going out ones - put on once and last at least all night and as its parfum - you only. Need a little - nit smelt Tom Ford but he gets lots of
Mentions so may try his. I tend to like subtle scents that suit my ‘ hot sexual panther’ personality!! |
