"It depends on what you call a pan of stew
Whilst making stew ive had all the hobs on the oven in use for making mine.
Ive had to upgrade to a catering pan as theres that much of it being made.

It depends on what your adding to it
I mix mine by tins everything goes in, Including the water of the tins.
This depends on what you like.
tin of garden peas
1-2 tins of marrowfat peas
tin of beans
tin of spagheti
carrots sliced
potatoes in chunks
turnip chunks
1 onion sliced up or half of one
swede sliced up
gravy mix added to it
The meat I have used mince meat as well as steak chopped up as they need frying up
Veg gets cooked first as that takes longer then I add the meat to it.
Tastes nice but even better when its rested and gets thicker when reheated next day.
It makes plenty of meals some of it can be frozen for later. |
