Are you ever suprised at who you fancy?
You shouldn’t fancy them because they don’t fit your ‘type’, but somehow they do/did?
Is it their personality that did it or a physical thing?

As K has said before, I don't really have a "type" (although glasses go a long way apparently  ) but there's certainly people who've I've not been attracted to initially, that as I've got to know them and their personality better I've become more attracted to

Yes sometimes. I'm usually drawn to feminine looking females, but occasionally I'm stopped in my tracks by a more masculine looking lady and I'm like WOW, its usually one sided so nothing happens but they stay in my mind

Yeah recently I’ve been reflecting on my “type” and realised that I always go for a certain kind of person based on their persona rather than looks.
It’s like this certain personality type over rides anything else (obvious health and looks are still important, but personality wins) |

More so in cases of why did I find them attractive/alluring in the first place. |

I never get or jump on this 'typically attractive' train. There's a big difference between finding someone attractive and being attracted to someone.
Every person I've been with looks different but one thing is the same, they have something in their personality I vibe with. Without that, I can't be attracted to anyone. |
