Do you use any of these super speedy same day/hour delivery services when you can't or don't want to go out for the few bits you need? I must admit I am getting a little bit used to them, especially in this weather. Have you used them? What was your experience like? So far all good for me. Had one earlier, put the order in and everything was here in half an hour. Bingo! |

"I don't even have deliveroo or Uber where I am, so I'm not gonna hold my breath on this one. "
Whoosh is Tesco, Amazon fresh is national, chop chop is Sainsbury, zoom is ocado, gorillas is just Lonfon based and not any particular supermarket. I have only used whoosh and prices were the same but there is a £2.99 charge. Not all items are available as they use local small tescos to deliver from and there is number of items and weight restrictions. Not something I would do my big shopping through but good for something urgent that you need or forgot. |

Never used an uber. Or any fast food delivery service (just eat/deliveroo etc.) and even the nearest Indian, Chinese, kebab and pizza places won't deliver to our address.
Never used a supermarket delivery service either. Largely because we're capable of being organised and putting a list together, but we like the spontaneity of being down a random aisle and going 'fuck it, let's have that tonight/tomorrow' on a whim.
Of course it does mean we have odd stuff in the freezer that we really meant to eat weeks ago......but.......
