I like wrapping for the first half an hour then I get bored and they start looking a bit rushed. I can’t stand wrapping the ones that come in funny shaped packaging though |

This is kinda my style. I always think I’m going to make them look lovely and then I end up thinking. Fuck this shit. They’re gonna tear it off anyway |

"At wrapping presents?
Are you all bows and ribbons?
Or does it end up looking like a fish lot?
Not crafty, mostly it looks like a 5 year old done it "
This! Who cares as long as it's covered. |

I love it and think I’m quite good at it! I used to wrap presents in one of my jobs years ago.
I’m a bugger for watching videos on fb and thinking… ‘ohhhh I’ll have a go at that!’ So my wrapping gets more adventurous every year |

This year I saved a lot of the paper that Amazon pad boxes with. I used craft stamps on some and the rest I used plain and tied with various ribbon or string then made some individual tags and small decorations. I've had a lot of fun doing it and I'm lucky in that I have the time and drawers full of stuff I've saved 'just in case' |

I start off with great intentions. Perfect sharp corners, nice ribbons, the works. Then I get to awkward-shaped ones I’ve been putting off and make a hash of the fiddly bits. Sellotape everywhere. Hope that an extra ribbon and a fancy tag will hide the mess. Eventually it’s half-past midnight, I’m still at it, and I’ve reached the ‘fuck this, where’s the wine?’ stage. |

I'd like to think I'm quite good at it - good ole Dunning Kruger at work there.
But I really enjoy it! From choosing nice ribbon, the perfect paper, scented present toppers/foliage. I'm going to try using scarves for some this year, seen some lovely tutorials on furoshiki and might as well try it. |

I'm alright at it. I'm far too lazy to bother with bows or ribbons. A name tag is all they get.
I'm a darn sight better than my husband who leaves bits showing and appears to tear rather than cut the wrapping paper.
My brother used to just hand presents out in the plastic bags they came in. I think he stopped when they started charging for carrier bags |

Blimey I don’t even use name tags. In fact I have an irrational hatred of them. I just wrap everyone’s in their own special paper.
I do wrap each persons separate too. Like on a different day. So everyone gets something that looks nice and neat on The top of their pile. Fish lots to the bottom |

Im the one that will disguise a present when wrapping them up, As I do it often.
Ive also done a russian doll present before now
I dont bother buying bows but will make one from the ribbons there easy enough.
Ive thrown in a present hunt before now. Where they open the present to have to go search in another place and open that present. |

Somewhere off the edge of the map... 'ere there be monsters |
I tend to no measure the paper properly, leaving gaps and holes, etc, sometimes needing patching up with different coloured and paterned paper. This drives the OCD of the mrs off the charts. So, very rarely am I trusted to do any wrapping these days... which suits me just fine. |
