Cheeseville, Somerset

That's what I paid last night.

Now we're not big pub goers and had just decided on a late bite and a drink.

The last time I bought a pint was in a restaurant in Bristol where there was fuck all change from £7.

Yes. We were in a spoons. But I'm not sure I've paid that little since the mid 90's. It actually felt weird not having to pay more. And no. It wasn't house lager or bitter.

Koppaberg Strawberry & Lime.

I'm rock'n'roll me......

Guessing there's huge disparity across the country so rhe question is - how much was the last pint you bought?

A

Spoons gets some stick but fair play, their prices on food and drink is good. They usually hold a good gin festival in the summer too

yes for all that's said about spoons they make the unhealthy passtime that's called drinking affordable, if they could just make some of the pubs a little less drab they'd be on a winner but suppose you can't have one without the other.

I was on a work night out at a craft brewery recently and pints were around £5ish. At my round one of the guys asked me to get him a different kind and when I asked for a pint of it at the bar the barman said 'really, we don't usually do that in full pints as it's quite dear' I said it was fine, just give me it anyway. TWELVE POUNDS! For 1 pint. Cheeky fucker I work with slipping that into my round ha!!

I genuinely have no idea, I know it was dark beer. I'd never heard of buying in quarter pints before, apparently it's usually sold in that or 1/2.

Costa Blanca Spain...

Local Irish pub with live entertainment 3.00€ for Heineken.

Average for most bars here is between 2.50 and 3.00€.

Quite a few smaller bars doing bottles of local Spanish beers at 1.00€

Happy days.

When I go into town to see friends we normally go to spoons, it’s great £1.59 for a pint of ruddles shandy, you can’t go wrong, if I have a proper drink the club I go to is £3 a pint of ringwood best, you don’t need to remortgage to have a good night out.

No idea what the cost of a pint is because I don't drink but I used to visit numerous pubs and hotels every day as part of a previous job and in 2013 a local football club was apparently the last to put their prices up to £3 a pint.

I can only assume they are much more expensive now.

Last actual pint in a local pub was £6.50.

Last week, with a meal in Miller and Carter, I paid the same for a bottled beer that I bought four large cans of the same brew in Sainsbury 3 days later.

Koppaberg Strawberry & Lime used to be more expensive. In all of the Weatherspoons I've visited over the last 6 months it's been around 2 quid a pint.

The last pub I visited tonight I paid over £5 a pint for lager.

£14 for a pint! That sounds more realistic for London prices.

I recently posted asking how much a pint costs in center London and some said a fiver a pint which sounded unbelievable considering I paid over a fiver a pint in my local in Wales here
