Has anyone tried this? I have some as part of a gift hamper for someone, but considering borrowing one to try tonight. Also wondering if you could warm a lot of them using a slow cooker for having people over around Xmas? Bet it would smell amazing!

It's lovely. Just OK cold, but it's really nice warm. Ì think I'd add extra cinnamon sticks if I was having it again.

Was Googling mulled cider last night and says to start with the scrumpy style cider and add vanilla pods, cinnamon sticks, star anise and other bits plus brandy or rum and brown sugar.

Going to give it a whirl this weekend.
