"Mine would have to be a "tour de France" drop handlebar racer
Loved that bike
Had it for years "
Was it a gold colour?
I had the same bike. Cost quite a bit of money and my parents have it away to someone. I was gutted |

My mum got a huge wooden crate, decorated it and filled it with every craft thing imaginable. It was probably all £ shop type stuff but I felt like it was the best treasure chest ever! |

A ghettoblaster. I really wanted one but I was told no so many times. I felt absolutely overwhelmed when I opened my present and there it was...a ghettoblaster all for me. |

I was a huge lego fan, when they came out with the new "technical" lego, the flagship set was a car chassis with 2 speed gearbox, rack and pinion steering, working suspension and a flat 4 "boxer" engine.....the year i got that was brilliant |

I think it terms of the most played with it was Matchbox motor City track set and service station with electronic sounds.
I generally loved lego and got loads. But I would mainly buy lego with my own money. But this cristmas present is the one that really sticks in my mind as giving me lots of hours of imaginative play. |

Little chunky heeled black boots, my mum had a pair when I was a little girl and I loved the sound they made when she walked and I wanted to be just like her. I don’t think I took them off for weeks after I got them , I was over the moon |

I was about to say “ditto”, but I think mine must have been the predecessor. Four cylinder inline engine and two speed gearbox, rack and pinion steering, but no suspension. Would have been Christmas 1980 I think. I still have it, in its original box, in the loft. |

Got it around 1978 and left it at home when I moved to England for work
Went to pick it up maybe 1990 and found it was bent in a "U" shape??
Turned out one of my brothers borrowed it and a mate of his run over it with a motorbike.
I was furious but brought it home and went about putting it right
I replaced every bit of that bike and straightened the frame out
Was like new again and ended up selling it to a lad from work.
Regret it to this day |

A soft bodied barbie doll with pink hair. She would glow up in the dark. I was obsessed, and then my brother buried her and never told me where. I was heartbroken, she was something else. |
