Jan holiday ideas required

Epsom

So my company has given me 11 days off in Jan. starting 2nd Jan. I’m in my first 6 months and they say jump, I say how high, hence the allocation of holiday days

Now looking for ideas as what to do, must be cheap as chips, have a valid passport, or happy to stay in the uk

Just don’t want to sit on my sofa wasting the days away, much like I have done this week…. Too cold to do anything that was my excuse!

Oh something for just me don’t have a partner in crime and mates will be dealing with their kids school run and other family stuff

Trust me I don’t have to be away the whole 11 days! Just don’t want to waste the time if that makes sense.

Otherwise I’d be on the sofa watching crap tv

If you want the sun, the only short(ish) haul option is the Canary Islands.

Prague was fun!

Was meant to go with mate for her birthday, alas her hubby stopped her going so I went alone. Got taken in by a stag do from up north… had an amazing weekend going bar to bar club to club with them!!

You can't of course guarantee the weather and unfortunately at the moment looks a bit rainy last week of Dec but might get better afterwards

abruzzo Italy (and UK)

If you want to it to be as warm as you can afford then try to head straight south so it keeps the flying time and so the cost down. Canaries is an option as is Morocco, you might get a good hotel deal but maybe look at Airbnb, costs shouldn’t be too bad in January.
