Wirral

I have a metal device on my keyring that I can use on touch screens that I don't want to touch. Also can be used to pull doors open.

My company bought one for every member of staff in the early days of the pandemic.

Public touch screens are only as clean as the dirtiest person using them. Fairly rank.

Staffs

Come on people ffs we touch all sorts of things daily that 1000s have touch without catching anything, our immune system deals with it.

If we wrap ourselves in cotton wool and don't allow ourselves some exposure to some bacteria our immune systems simply become weak.

Think about it you go shopping and pick up that item, your not the first to touch it,you open that door at work,at the shop,at the gym your not the first to touch it,you hold that hand rail on the stairs, bus, swimming bath, train your not the first to touch it.

Yes wash your hands often but for god's sake chill.

And how many men in the vents walk in and walk out without washing their hands. These screens are a public health hazard..

I avoid them because I'd rather support people with jobs and not give corporations an excuse to employ fewer people while charging ever increasing prices and pay suppliers/producers less for everyday basics.

Good. Our lives are too sanitized, and some exposure to germs will help build resistance to disease.

Avoid routinely licking your own palms and you should be ok...

Boo's World

I bet you still push a trolley by the handle or pick up a basket without washing the entire thing down first with disinfectant.

Not to mention taking items off the shelves that many other people have touched first between being produced, delivered via dirty lorries and then put on the shelves.

You won't die from some hideous disease touching a screen.

No, these men are a public health hazard. Let alone the ones in the vents. Bloody Bruce Willis crawling through the air ducts

I regularly travel on public transport. Touch screen self-service tills are the least of my worries.

Get someone else to do it for you. Far cheaper than wet wipes.

The Town by The Cross

Tom. Tom. Tom. Stop spreading fear and stress, which - incidentally, is a greater killer than common bacteria that humans have lived with for years.

Also Nanny Tom - people KNOW not to suck their fingers after using public devices and services.

Your phone pad and comp keyboard are worse than your toilet seat...

Not mine.... just yours.
