It baffles me sometimes, they ask for a clear face pic when they don’t have a clear face pic on their profile. I understand some people want/need discretion on here, but surely there has to be a middle ground. I would like to see who I’m talking to and potentially meeting with. I’m happy to show my face, after all there has to be an attraction right? |

Fair point. Like I said, I understand completely. I just feel I don’t quite understand sometimes, how they ask (sometimes demand) for something from others they won’t do themselves |

I don’t want that security guard from Lidl knowing I’m on here. Or Darren from Accounts. But it cuts down the message trough enormously, to receive a face photo with a first message. If I like their message and their face, I reciprocate. Easy. |

It is simple....if a guy messages me I want to see his face from the get go.
If he doesn't provide I will usually delete. If there is enough on his profile to be of interest to me then I will ask for one. If I like the merch then I send a face pic back. Otherwise, it's a 'thanks but no thanks' |

This reminds me of a situation on another app, where I was being asked for face pics by a TV/TS, despite the fact that her pics had half her face out of frame & were heavily filtered. So I provided her with pics which showed an equivalent amount of facial detail which she was not happy with. When I pointed out the fact that you get what you give, she got very aggressive & started being abusive towards me, saying I must be ugly etc (hence the inspiration behind my name).
I told her that if she isn't satisfied with the pics I have provided already then she is perfectly within her right to block me, which drew a bizarre reaction from her, as she then stared trying to backpedal & become friendly. I wasn't having it any of this so I just blocked her anyway.
Anyway, fast forward about a year and I've created an account on here... Who do I see? But this same TV/TS, with the same photos..... Which she had originally uploaded on here, in the year 2012!!
That's the year two thousand and goddamn twelve!
The moral of the story is anyone trying to bully face pics out of you should be treated with a high degree of suspicion. |
